David Roberts Bookmarks Jerusalem Set

Three beautiful bookmarks with stunningly illustrated with David Robert's views of Jerusalem paintings printed on PVC. Each bookmark features a scripture written in English that relates to the illustration. Set includes David's Tower, Jerusalem from Mount Olives, and North of Jerusalem.

David Roberts traveled from Egypt across the Suez to Mount Sinai, Petra, Jerusalem, and the Galilee producing a large collection of drawings and watercolors of all the major holy sites. These works formed the basis of the tinted lithographs published soon after his return to England, a collection which enjoyed immense popularity in England and the United States. It provided the public the first glimpse of the biblical landscape and monuments known only by name. Today Roberts' works are still enjoyed by those who appreciate the beauty of the Holy Land.
