Set of 6 Shalom Al Yisrael Menorah Mosaic Coasters

Brightly printed in PVC.

Beautiful coasters featuring the menorah mosaic found inside the Shalom Al Yisrael Synagogue in Jericho. The Synagogue dates from the Byzantine Empire and has a mosaic floor which incorporates Jewish symbols such as the Ark of the Covenant, the Menorah, the Shofar and the Lulav. There is also a Hebrew inscription, "Peace upon Israel" (שלום על ישראל), after which the mosaic and synagogue are named.
